Missed-call text-back

A missed call stops being a lost customer

Missed call text back is a simple automation with a large effect: when someone calls your business and nobody answers, they immediately receive a message — a WhatsApp or an SMS — that acknowledges the call and asks what they need. The conversation continues in text while you finish what you were doing.

Revneura installs it on your existing business number and operates it, in Arabic and English, as part of every plan from SAR 1,099 per month. It is the least impressive-sounding system we run and frequently the one that pays back fastest.

Bring one week of your call log. We will tell you what the ring-outs are worth.

01 The invisible leak

What happens when you miss a call today

Nothing. That is the entire problem.

The caller gets a ring-out or a voicemail nobody checks. You get no record that they existed — no name, no reason for the call, often not even a number you will notice in a call log you never open. And the caller, who needed something at that moment, goes to the next search result.

Three things make this worse than it sounds. Most people do not call a business twice. The calls you miss are concentrated in your busiest hours, which are also when your highest-intent customers are calling. And it is invisible: there is no report anywhere that shows you the revenue that rang out this week.

If your phone system produces a call log, bring it to the call. Counting your own unanswered calls for one week is usually a more persuasive argument than anything on this page.

02 The mechanism

How missed-call text-back works

01

A call comes in and is not answered — busy, after hours, on another line, phone in a pocket.

02

The automation fires on the ring-out, with no action from you.

03

The caller receives a message on their number: who you are, that you saw their call, and a direct question about what they need.

04

They reply in text, which is easier for them than calling back, and does not require you to be free at that second.

05

The conversation continues in your normal messaging channel, with a record of it and a follow-up sequence behind it.

03 The wording

What the automatic message says

The message does three jobs in about two lines: identify the business, acknowledge the missed call, and ask one specific question that is easy to answer.

What it does not do is apologise at length, explain your hours or read like a system notification. “Sorry we missed your call, our operators are currently busy” is a message people ignore. A short line with a real question gets a reply.

We write the Arabic and the English versions natively, and you approve both before they go live. There are separate variants for working hours, after hours and weekends, because “we will call you straight back” is a lie at 11pm and customers know it.

04 After the reply

Where the conversation goes next

The reply does not land in a system you have to check. It goes to the channel you already work in, and from there the rest of the stack takes over: the qualification and follow-up sequences described on our WhatsApp Business automation page, and, where the caller wanted an appointment, straight into the online booking system without a second conversation.

Every recovered call is counted. Your monthly report shows calls received, calls missed and calls recovered, so the thing that was invisible becomes a number you can watch.

06 FAQ

Common questions

How fast does the message arrive?

Within seconds of the call ending, in normal conditions. We are deliberately not publishing a guaranteed number here, because delivery speed depends on the carrier and the channel and we will not promise a figure we have not measured on your setup. We measure it during onboarding and tell you what it actually is.

Does it work if my phone is switched off or out of coverage?

It fires on the unanswered call, so in most configurations, yes. There are phone-system setups where it cannot, and we check yours during onboarding rather than discovering it later.

Will it message people I do not want messaged — wrong numbers, suppliers, spam calls?

Numbers can be excluded, and repeat spam callers get suppressed once identified. Perfect filtering is not possible; a wrong number occasionally receiving a polite message from a local business is a small cost against the recovered ones.

SMS or WhatsApp?

WhatsApp where the caller has it, which in this market is nearly everyone, because it supports a real conversation. SMS as the fallback. The choice per client depends on what is approved and registered for your business, which we confirm before launch.

Do I need to change my phone number?

No. It is installed on the number you already advertise. Changing a published business number costs you more than any automation returns.

What if I would rather just call them back?

Then do. The automation does not stop you — it buys you the time to call back without losing the customer in the meantime, and it means the ones you never get around to calling are still in a conversation.
