WhatsApp Business automation

Your business answers WhatsApp instantly, at 11pm, in Arabic

WhatsApp Business API in Saudi Arabia lets a business send and receive WhatsApp messages at scale, automatically, from its own verified number — instead of one person answering a phone. Revneura applies for it, sets it up, writes and submits the message templates, connects it to your website and your booking system, and operates it for you.

You never open a developer console. Customers get an answer in seconds at any hour, and the conversation lands with a human when it needs one. Included from SAR 1,999 per month.

Which is, yes, the point.

01 The four gaps

What WhatsApp automation actually does for a Saudi SMB

Your customers already message you on WhatsApp. That is not a channel decision you get to make; it is where they are. The problem is what happens between the message arriving and someone reading it.

Automation closes four specific gaps:

The after-hours gap

A message at 11pm gets an immediate, useful reply instead of silence until morning.

The busy gap

Ten messages arrive during your busiest two hours. All ten get acknowledged.

The qualification gap

Basic questions — do you open on Friday, do you cover my district, what does it cost, do you have this in stock — get answered without a person.

The follow-up gap

Quotes, bookings and abandoned enquiries get chased on a schedule instead of being forgotten.

What automation does not do is replace you. It handles the first exchange and hands over the moment the conversation needs judgment.

02 App or API

WhatsApp Business app vs WhatsApp Business API

This is the distinction most buyers arrive confused about, and it decides what is possible for you.

The WhatsApp Business app is the free application you install on a phone. One number, one device (plus limited linked devices), manual replies, simple away messages and quick replies. It is genuinely fine for a business doing a handful of conversations a day. It does not scale, it does not connect to your website or booking system in any meaningful way, and several people cannot work the same inbox properly.

The WhatsApp Business Platform (the API) has no app. It is an interface that connects your number to software — which means multiple agents on one number, automated sequences, delivery of order and booking updates, and integration with your site, your store and your CRM. Messages you initiate outside an open customer-service conversation window must be pre-approved templates, and they are categorised by purpose, which affects both approval and cost. This is the tier every business in this page’s audience eventually needs.

The practical summary: if you want your website chat, your booking confirmations and your follow-up sequences to run through WhatsApp on one business number with more than one person answering, you need the API. If you want to answer thirty messages a day by hand, you do not.

03 Our scope

What we set up

  • Application and verification for your business on the platform, handled end to end by us
  • Message templates written natively in Arabic and English, submitted for approval, and resubmitted if rejected — approval is Meta’s decision, not ours, and template rejection is normal on a first pass
  • Automated sequences for instant reply, qualification, booking confirmation, reminders and reactivation
  • Routing to a human, with clear rules for when a conversation is handed over and to whom
  • Website and store connection, so a chat that starts on your site continues on WhatsApp
  • Opt-in capture written into your forms and checkout at the point of collection, not bolted on afterwards
  • Ongoing operation — new templates, new sequences, wording changes, all on request

04 Your side of it

What it requires from you

Honest answer: more than the other systems on this site, and all of it at the start.

  • A phone number you control, which will be used with the platform
  • A business that can be verified — a commercial registration and a consistent business name across your profile, your website and your documents
  • A decision on who answers when a conversation is handed to a person
  • Approval of every template before we submit it

We handle the process; we cannot shortcut the approval. Anyone promising you guaranteed or instant approval is describing something they do not control.

05 Connections

Connecting WhatsApp to your website and your store

WhatsApp works hardest when it is not a standalone inbox. A visitor asks a question through the widget covered on our website live chat and lead capture page, the conversation moves to WhatsApp with the context attached, and the follow-up sequence runs from there. A caller who could not get through triggers the flow described on our missed-call text-back page. A customer who books through the online booking and reminder system gets their confirmation and reminder on the same thread.

For online stores, the same channel carries order confirmations, shipping updates and post-purchase messages. If your store is part of this project, that integration is scoped on our e-commerce store development page.

06 Scope and price

What is included and what it costs

WhatsApp automation is part of the GROWTH plan at SAR 1,999 per month and above, alongside booking, follow-up sequences and monthly reporting. Setup, template writing, submission and ongoing operation are included; there is no setup fee.

One thing that is not included and cannot be: Meta charges for messages sent through the platform, and that cost is billed on your account, not absorbed into ours. We will estimate it against your message volume on the call rather than leave you to discover it.

All prices in Saudi riyals. All prices include 15% VAT.

07 FAQ

Common questions

Do I need a new phone number?

Usually not — but a number registered to the WhatsApp Business Platform cannot also be used in the WhatsApp Business app at the same time. If the number you use today is someone’s personal handset, we will recommend a dedicated business number. We confirm this on the call before anything changes.

Will customers know they are talking to an automation?

At the start of the conversation, yes, and deliberately so. The opening message identifies the business and makes clear that a person is available. Pretending a bot is a human is how a good first impression becomes a complaint.

How long does approval take?

Meta decides, and the timeline varies. Business verification and template review are separate steps, each with their own queue. We submit promptly and resubmit fast when something is rejected, but we will not give you a guaranteed date for a decision that is not ours to make.

Can I send a promotion to all my customers?

Only to customers who have opted in to receive marketing from you, and only through an approved marketing template. There is a second reason to be careful beyond the rules: too many marketing broadcasts produce blocks and mutes, your number’s quality rating drops, and your delivery gets throttled — which damages the transactional messages you actually depend on. We will say so if a requested broadcast is a bad trade.

What happens when a customer asks something the automation cannot answer?

It hands over to a person, with the conversation history attached. The handover rules are set during onboarding — by keyword, by question type, by time of day, or simply on request from the customer.

Can this connect to my CRM?

Yes, on the SCALE plan at SAR 3,499 per month, which includes CRM integration and lead routing. Tell us which CRM you use on the call and we will confirm what the integration covers.
